What the Heart & Song is an earth-centered gathering shaped by animistic hedge-witch practices and inspired by Winter Nights and the bardic spirit of song and story. Together, we’ll welcome the growing nights through ritual, creativity, gratitude, and shared food, tending the warmth we carry into winter.

What to expect

🌿 A community circle, grounding, and elemental blessings

💗 A loving-kindness practive

☕ A warm, nonalcoholic wassail drinking

🎨 Sharing poetry, music, stories, artwork, and other creative gifts

🌹 Gratitude offerings and reflection

🌙 A guided self-blessing meditation, as time allows

🥣 A seasonal community potluck

🎶 What to Bring

• An optional brief creative contribution, approximately two minutes, to share with the circle. Artwork and handmade objects are for sharing or displaying; and will go home with those who brought them.

• A potluck dish, if you’re able, with ingredients labeled.

• Anything that helps you feel comfortable and settled.

You are welcome whether or not you bring food or a creative offering. No prior ritual, meditation, or performance experience is needed.

🍎 About your Facilitator

Cayla is the founder of WYLD WAYFYNDING, an animistic hedge witch, ordained minister, and Reiki practitioner. Her work brings together nature-centered spirituality, reflection, creativity, and community, creating space for people to explore meaningful relationships with themselves, one another, and the living world.
