- ➤ State lawmakers passed two bills Tuesday that would change how state schools assign grades and require training for graduate instructors following a controversial essay dispute at OU + the bills will take effect immediately upon approval with schools proving compliance. OU Daily
- ➤ OU Faculty Senate approved a resolution making clear the university did not consult the senate when it terminated graduate instructor Mel Curth for allegedly arbitrarily grading a psychology paper. Thirty-four senators voted in favor on Friday as discussions between OU administration and the Graduate Student Senate continue. OU Daily
