- ➤ OU Daily was named a Pacemaker finalist in the online category by the Associated Collegiate Press, making it one of 44 recognized college media operations. The judges, who began reviewing work July 17, will announce winners at the ACP spring conference in March + this marks its fifth straight honor. OU Daily
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ OU baseball beat OSU 10 to 1 during the Shriners Children’s College Showdown in Arlington, where junior pitcher LJ Mercurius struck out 12 and senior outfielder Trey Gambill hit a home run to start the season 2 to 0. OSU fell to 0 to 2 and will face Vanderbilt Sunday. News9
