GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The city will hold two pre-development meetings Thursday, Feb. 26 to discuss proposed developments in Ward 4 for a mixed-use residence and tattoo studio and in Ward 2 for a self-storage facility, where nearby residents can ask questions about the plans.  The Norman Transcript
  • At its Tuesday meeting, the Undergraduate Student Congress allocated $12,715.39 in auxiliary funding to registered groups, changed its budgetary committee to include student leaders (from new ex officio roles), and amended the Crimson Leadership Association Act to increase office hours.   • Emergency physicians testified on Feb. 17 before the Oklahoma House Insurance Committee for a bill that would require insurers to pay the full allowed amount for care & shift billing away from doctors to rebuild patient trust.
