- ➤ Severe storms and possible hail moved northeast toward Norman and OU’s campus on April 28—the National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Cleveland County until 11 p.m. as the conditions developed. OU Daily
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oklahoma residents 18 and older must obtain a REAL ID by May 7 to avoid new travel restrictions—adults without it will not be allowed to fly domestically or enter federal buildings and some military bases, though TSA will accept other approved IDs for domestic flights. The Oklahoman
- ➤ The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is asking Norman residents for input on a proposed turnpike route planned west of Lake Thunderbird. Spokesperson Terri Angier said the OTA explained aspects of the new route Tuesday — aiming to counter local opposition claims. The Norman Transcript
