- ➤ Norman Public Schools board members Alex Ruggiers and Annette Price held a town hall on Saturday with about 25 residents to discuss board divisions, a superintendent contract, and new technology in classrooms. - ➤ SEC softball tournament begins Tuesday, May 5 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington — 15 teams will compete, and the Oklahoma Sooners are the No. 1 seed set to play at 8:00 p.m. ET Thursday against either Georgia or LSU. The Oklahoman
- ➤ The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association released brackets for the 2026 state playoff high school soccer games. A Norman team will compete at Northwest Classen on Monday, May 4 at 7 p.m. + additional matchups run through mid-May. The Oklahoman
