- ➤ Halle McFarlane, OU’s fourth woman drum major, ended her two-year term while urging students to get involved in leadership roles and join campus clubs; she is now preparing for an accelerated master’s in electrical engineering (her next big step). OU Daily
- ➤ Gov. Kevin Stitt signed House Bill 1276 that makes the bell-to-bell cellphone ban for students permanent beginning July 1 next school year (each district board must set its own policy) after positive feedback from teachers and parents. KGOU

- ➤ Norman Public Schools Board of Education approved a property purchase at 1051 W. Rock Creek Road for a new FFA barn and transportation facility. The deal, part of a voter-approved bond, includes five 10,800 sqft warehouses and a 36,400 sqft climate-controlled showroom — expanding the district’s capacity. The Norman Transcript

- ➤ Oklahoma high school soccer playoffs are underway as Monday and Tuesday’s games showed strong results with Norman teams among those advancing, and quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Thursday with games starting as early as 6 p.m. The Oklahoman
- ➤ OU catcher Kendall Wells was named unanimous SEC Player of the Year on Tuesday after hitting .367 with a school-record 36 home runs and falling one hit short of an NCAA record. The Sooners began the SEC Tournament & fans cheered their team's local success. The Oklahoman
