- ➤ The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority held a meeting in Norman Tuesday night at the Countdown Event Center to collect input on a revised South Extension turnpike route after planners shifted the alignment away from Lake Thunderbird. Hundreds of residents, including members of advocacy group Pike Off OTA—who opposed the turnpike near their neighborhoods—voiced strong concerns while officials explained that public input will be accepted online through June 30.
