- ➤ Oklahoma lawmakers passed five new laws that will let people forage for morel mushrooms on state land, require clear records requests, force hospitals to post prices or face penalties, make it a felony for school leaders to skip reporting child abuse, and ban ratepayer-funded appliance rebates from utilities; these measures will take effect on Nov 1 or July 1 and come as Governor Kevin Stitt allowed 234 bills to become law without his signature.
