  • Following layoffs at Norman Regional Hospital, the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is hosting a free resource fair at the Moore Norman Technology Center — offering job search help, career retraining, and community support services — for affected workers; the fair was held on June 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open today until 3 p.m.  News9

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Tribal leaders from Oklahoma tribes said they were frustrated during Tuesday’s meeting with the Department of the Interior over proposed federal cuts that include $1 billion in reductions — they said the short timeline made it hard to review the details. Leaders noted that poor guidance leaves them unprepared to respond — the final consultation session is scheduled for today in Washington, D.C.  KGOU

  • Myles Turner said that after the Pacers clinched the Eastern Conference finals win on June 4, the Finals matchup with the Thunder signaled a shift from superteams—highlighting a new approach that values young talent and team chemistry.
