- ➤ State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced a mandate that requires districts to send new budgets right away to pay for free meals, saying a state law means every child must have a full education. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will reassign troopers from interstate highways on November 1, leaving police in Norman, OKC, Tulsa, Moore, Edmond, Midwest City and Del City to patrol these roads. Local chiefs said the change will stretch limited resources and may delay responses to traffic accidents – potentially impacting public safety. News9

- ➤ OKC Thunder beat the Philadelphia 76ers 89—78 on Monday in Salt Lake City Summer League as Nikola Topić scored 11 points with five assists and Ajay Mitchell added 16 points with five rebounds.
