  • Today, Oklahoma begins its annual back-to-school sales tax holiday that runs through the weekend with clothing and shoes under $100 exempt from taxes — the state will reimburse cities and counties for lost revenue.  KGOU
  • On July 31st, the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission launched a new online portal for unemployment claimants that now takes 20 to 30 minutes to process claims and released a list showing that information security analysts, data scientists, nurse practitioners, cooks, and wind turbine service technicians will be the fastest-growing jobs in Oklahoma through 2032. The commission also said employers increasingly want skills in post-secondary education, critical thinking, and communication.  News9
