- ➤ Today, Cleveland County Commissioners approved a revised 6-month contract to house some OKC detainees at the county jail, and the agreement outlines housing procedures for managing detainee placements. The Oklahoman
- ➤ The USDA approved Oklahoma’s request to exclude soft drinks and candy from SNAP purchases as part of Gov. Kevin Stitt’s Make Oklahoma Healthy Again Campaign, and the waiver will take effect next year. Almost 700,000 Oklahomans use SNAP and food advocates stress that the change comes as the state prepares for adjustments from the Big Beautiful Bill Act (which may add about $300 million in annual costs).
