- ➤ Oklahoma students from kindergarten to 12th grade may submit creative name ideas for a state snowplow on the ODOT website until September 15 (entries must be original) as part of a statewide contest. News9
- ➤ A recent study found that tribal administration of the Summer EBT program lowered food insecurity for children in Oklahoma last summer. The Chickasaw and Cherokee Nations provided monthly grocery assistance to eligible kids, and new approvals may expand coverage to nearly 330,000 children. The Oklahoman

- ➤ OU officials are reviewing screenshots that allegedly show quarterback John Mateer’s 2022 Venmo transactions referencing sports gambling, and Mateer denies any involvement.
