- ➤ Joe Pal, a 23-year-old OU rugby player, died in March after a physical altercation near campus where attackers waited nearly an hour before calling 911, his mother saying the delay worsened his head injury — the case remains under investigation with no arrests made. News9
LIFESTYLE NEWS
- ➤ Nixon is a 2-month-old puppy with a sleek black and white coat and floppy ears who is doing well with his training and available for adoption at OK Humane Adoption Center (7500 N. Western Ave.). He was rescued with his two sisters and cared for in a foster home using the neonate program, and OK Humane will host a prom-themed fundraising event on Sept. 19. News9
