Whole Foods recalled guacamole, dips and other products on Aug.
13 because of a salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeños; the recalled items were sold in 12 states including locally. Customers who purchased them should discard the products and contact Whole Foods for a refund.
FDA upgraded a recall — making the egg recall now Class I — for Texas eggs linked to a salmonella outbreak that sickened 98 people across 17 states; eggs with codes P-1950 or 0840962 sold at local Brookshire outlets must be returned for a refund before Aug.
