  • The Oklahoma State Fair will run from Sept. 11 to Sept. 21 and will feature over 40 new food and drink items — such as bacon honey bun and iced coffee with ube milk foam—introduced by local vendors to add fresh choices to the event.  The Oklahoman

  • The Oklahoma Public School Resource Center has launched the Data Matrix tool — it lets school leaders compare student performance among similar schools and find best practices. The tool helps educators see trends and make improvements in instruction statewide.  The Oklahoman

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Norman will receive $498,000 over three years for new opioid treatment programs with the Virtue Center — a grant approved by the state AG's office as part of a broader effort to reduce opioid overdoses.
