  • During a business and community affairs committee meeting on Thursday, Norman City Council heard a presentation on the Westwood Park master plan—detailing plans to rearrange tennis courts for new pickleball facilities, reposition the golf course with nighttime lighting, build extra parking spaces, and launch a new restaurant. The $54 million project will be funded by Norman Forward’s sales tax, and councilmembers voiced concerns about noise and pedestrian access—especially near Merkle Creek.  OU Daily

  • ESPN’s College GameDay is in Norman ahead of today's OU vs. Michigan game and Rece Davis highlighted outstanding quarterbacks and Michigan’s missing linebacker Jaishawn Barham.   • OU released rules and regulations for ESPN’s College GameDay in Norman ahead of its game against Michigan today. Security will be provided by OU Police and ESPN, and the pit opens today at 5:30 a.m.—fans must wear OU colors to receive a numbered wristband and follow strict guidelines prohibiting items like food, drinks, and signs.  OU Daily
