  • Today, St. Luke's Methodist Church holds its second Stand Up Sunday to fight hate by distributing Blue Square lapel pins as a sign of unity—39 other houses of worship will also join the effort. The event—inspired by last year's initiative and organized by the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism—aims to raise awareness about rising antisemitism and bigotry.  The Oklahoman
  • Arianna Matthews, a student at OU, was crowned Miss Ultimate USA yesterday at 9:22 a.m. in Orlando and will use her new title to promote her message of authenticity and service — planning campus appearances at Norman and OU — as part of a year of service.  News9

  • Oklahoma football won 24 to 13 over Michigan at Palace on the Prairie as coach Brent Venables led a tough defense reminiscent of his Clemson days and transfer quarterback John Mateer drove a late surge to secure the win—reviving local playoff hopes.  The Oklahoman
  • ESPN’s College GameDay returned to Norman on Saturday as thousands of fans gathered on the South Oval ahead of the OU—Michigan game—many camping overnight for a prime spot while officials noted the event marked its 10th visit and boosted the local economy.
