- ➤ Friends of the Norman Library is hosting its annual fall book sale from today to Sept 28 at 1042 N. Flood Ave.—The sale is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Norman Transcript

- ➤ OU dedicated McCasland Hall on Tuesday—honoring a $10 million donation from the McCasland Foundation—and the new hall now houses roughly 560 students with a second building scheduled to open in fall. OU Daily
- ➤ Ryan Walters resigned as Oklahoma State Superintendent and will become CEO of the Teacher Freedom Alliance, which offers educators free support as an alternative to union membership.
