The fundraiser has already raised over $7,000 and is crucial for the student to stay enrolled.  OU Daily

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On September 28, 2.9 million birds flew over Oklahoma skies as part of the fall migration, and radar data from September 25 recorded over 1.2 billion birds flying at about 2,000 feet — this shows that patterns seen on local radar were likely due to birds, not storms. Local bird enthusiasts and officials noted that the migration, marked by clear, circular radar signatures, helped distinguish the flocks from actual weather systems.  The Oklahoman

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Ryan Walters resigned as state superintendent of public instruction on Sept 30—saying he will keep fighting for parental rights, accountability and school choice—and later announced he will join the Teacher Freedom Alliance to support educators. He said his commitment to education remains strong as he leaves the office.  News9
