- ➤ Civilian employees at Tinker Air Force Base may be furloughed during a government shutdown if funding lapses and nearly half could lose pay. The Pentagon said it will keep key operations such as aircraft repair and depot maintenance running even if some contracts are delayed. The Oklahoman
- ➤ Oklahoma lawmakers probed why homeowners insurance rates topped $6,100 annually — more than double the national average — as a bipartisan interim study examined the issue and its impact on home ownership and business.
