- ➤ At Boone Pickens Stadium Saturday, Oklahoma State football lost 39-17 to Houston after an early 7-0 lead and a tied 10 before Houston scored two touchdowns in the first half—OSU also suffered injuries including cornerback Jaylin Davies’ leg injury as quarterback rotations and offensive struggles continued to hamper their bid for a first Big 12 win since 2023. - ➤ On Oct. 11, OU football lost 23-6 to Texas in Dallas as returning quarterback John Mateer, coming back from right hand surgery, completed 52.6% of his passes for 202 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions.
