- ➤ Oklahomans will vote in June on a measure to raise the minimum wage, with rates rising stepwise from $7.25 to $15 by 2029 if approved. A local economist warned that small businesses in leisure and hospitality may suffer—while a state policy analyst said the change will help many workers earn a fair wage. The Oklahoman
- ➤ A recent survey showed that crop producers in nearby areas faced weak incomes and tighter borrowing power, but Oklahoma's cattle industry kept farm finances more stable (with high beef prices boosting profits).
