About this event

Children will practice reading in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere at their own pace with Ms. Cathy and a certified therapy dog (Buzz or Sully) provided through the library. Reading to dogs not only helps children improve their confidence and skills but also has many social and emotional benefits as well. Participants can bring a favorite book or choose one from the library! Space is limited and registration is required please call the Blanchard Library to schedule your 15-minute time slot. Your Tuesday session will meet weekly at a specific assigned time . The schedule is for September, October, November and December 2026 . This program is designed for beginning, young, reluctant, and challenged readers. Please note: If a registrant does not arrive at their scheduled time, we will move on to the next registrant.
