- ➤ The Oklahoma Senate bill seeks to codify Gov. Kevin Stitt's order banning state funds for diversity, equity and inclusion programs at universities. If enacted, colleges must file a compliance certificate every July 1 starting in 2026, and lawmakers debate whether it stops preferential treatment while critics worry about limiting opportunities for women and minorities.
